Housed in a vintage movie house, the Yost Theater is looking to compete with big OC music venues such as Disney's House of Blues. Gorgeously appointed with massive plush drapes, ornate lanterns, blue ceiling tiles and a state of the art sound system, there might be some nervous grumbling in the House of Mouse. Co-operated by former Koo's Cafe owner Dennis Lluy, The Yost serves a large selection of draft beers and features a full bar -- perfect for getting loose in front of the massive stage.

I've just started going to Yost Theater about a month ago. Ever since, I've been coming every Saturday for their bigger events. It's always fun and has great music. One of the weekends, we reserved VIP seating- and it was well worth it. We got free entrance for our group, cheap drinks, and the best area in the club. I went there yesterday to check out the DJ DC who's breaking the world record and it's crazy! He's staying up for 150 hours DJ-ing. Who knows what else we could be expecting from Yost Theater, all I know is that there's only more greatness to come!
