With a design that sets it apart from the big box retailers and long-gone auto dealerships that line University Avenue, the GLBT-friendly Town House Bar seems like a small and unassuming locale at first sight. But upon entering its front doors, a space that seems small opens to a generously-sized bar and adjoining dance floor, as well as a back room with another smaller bar and sitting area. This bar is also a great place to pick up inexpensive drinks, with all you can drink from 4-8 daily for only $9. Also expect nightly DJs, karaoke, or live entertainment.
It's surprising that in an area with such a thriving GLBT presence there really aren't a whole lot of good lesbian hangouts.
