The Summit offers a comfortable space for the writers, journalists, artists, and techies of the city. No day-old bagels here: The menu boasts Blue Bottle coffee, pastries by rotating pastry chefs, and gourmet meals like sausage and grits, short rib sandwiches, or an open-face mushroom melt. It also offers local wines and beers, along with art shows in their space and stay open till 2 a.m.Tuesday-Saturday. Backed by founders of MySpace, YouTube, and BitTorrent, the placeremains tech-savvy - check the blog or Twitter for updates, events, and specials.
