Description

The Speakeasy Lounge adds some Prohibition-era flavor to the downtown Lake Worth nightlife scene. Illuminated by paper lanterns, the narrow front bar is lined with high-back chairs and allows for a more laid- back setting. The back bar area has a large dance floor complete with disco ball, laser lights, and a state-of-the-art sound system. The stage is often filled with local musical acts and burlesque troupe performances. Vintage photographs from the 1920s adorn the wall, and plush couches provide patrons with a cozy intimate option. Open until 4 a.m., the only thing the Speakeasy Lounge is missing is a secret basement filled with moonshine.
