Description

Since it first opened as a movie house eight decades ago, the Roxy Theatre in Five Points has gone through many incarnations; the 4,800-square-foot space was a dance club before becoming a live-music venue in 2011 and getting a remodel, a new sound system and a new lighting rig. While the 500-person Roxy brings in a fair amount of local and national hip-hop acts, it also hosts rock, jazz and metal shows.
