Heading down Interstate 35 west out of Fort Worth, you'll see a large tower with a simple yellow sign glowing "Rig Steak House" in the middle. The tower -- or rather, the out-of-use oil rig -- sits happily in the parking lot of a combination steakhouse and saloon that seems more like it belongs on the side of a lonely stretch of highway than five minutes from downtown Fort Worth. And with regular performances by Not Really Willie, a Willie Nelson impersonator, the Rig Steak House and Saloon should give a taste of Texas country for those not inclined toward road trips.
