Floor decals shaped like yellow feet lead patrons into this comfortably shabby Scottsdale dive, which features teal walls covered in Christmas lights, a seaside mural that's seen better days, and bumper stickers stating such phrases as "My Other Car is a Broom." While the NASCAR pinball game is popular, there are also dartboards, pool, and a DJ spinning tunes some evenings. Plus, a cutout of baseball great Bob Uecker leads to the ultimate in dive bar amenities: a foosball table. The mostly blue-collar crowd bellies up to the chipped-edge bar, where smiling barkeeps are happy to supply cheap drinks and hard pours from the standard-issue stash of beer and liquor as the sounds of classic rock and country boom from the jukebox. But if you'd rather drink at home, the Playa Bar has a packaged-liquor license, which means you can always get your beer to go.
