With something for everyone, the Parlor can be your sports bar broadcasting a game from any of its five TVs. It can be your dive, with the pool table under dim lights in the middle of the bar. It can be your club with the huge dance floor in a back room. It can even be your concert venue: there's a stage set up for bands and on Thursdays there's live music with no cover. As the night goes on, the cover goes up, so it's a good idea to get in early for free (or e-mail ahead of time for the guest list, which closes by 8 p.m.). Though it bills itself as a club, the decor and the drinks are no frills - Manhattans, classic margaritas, or $7 PatrĂ³n shots are the most popular offerings. And because of its casual atmosphere, it makes a good starting place before making the rounds.
Plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy sports and brews.
