With a 16-channel digital sound system, intelligent stage lighting, and national headliners most weekends (Rob Schneider, Hal Sparks, Michael Winslow), The Parlor Live Comedy Club often outdoes its peers. True, it's upscale and located in the high-toned Lincoln Square in downtown Bellevue, but it's far from pretentious. (And really, how pretentious could a comedy club be?) A round of Jolly Rancher shots are as acceptable as a martini; the same goes for the nacho platter vs. the apple-pecan salad. And if you don't want to call it a night after the show, you can hit the dance floor or shoot a game of pool just down the hall.
