Description
There are few frills at this minuscule Echo Park eatery. With homey American dishes like spaghetti and meatballs and a much buzzed-about burger, The Park is the sort of corner spot the once dingy neighborhood needed. The casually friendly servers are as likely to bring your polenta out a bit too late as they are to slip you a link to their latest EP, but any small hiccups quickly fade into the tile floor and pale green paint job as you nod your head along to the music overhead. There are a few choice patio spots outside of the cramped entryway, but they're usually full of slender young locals scarfing down those fresh seven-ounce burgers. Oh, and on Wednesdays, they're only $5.
