Formerly known as Cero's, The Other Place caters to a culturally eclectic clientele. Drink specials include happy hour Monday through Friday 4 p.m. to 8p.m., and flow from a fully stocked bar accompanied by a decent wine and draft beer selection. Aside from pints, beer is also served in large glass chalices. On Tuesday and Friday nights a DJ spins music ranging from '80s to contemporary chart toppers and Spanish rock. Wednesday night is comedy night, featuring talent from "Last Comic Standing," "The Tonight Show" and Comedy Central. Live Spanish rock bands take the stage on Thursdays, playing cover songs in both English and Spanish. The menu offers standard bar food with appetizers, burgers and sandwiches, with 99 cent tacos on Tuesdays.
