The Naughty Prince anchors a corner of a strip mall at Mississippi Avenue and Parker Road, in a building that has been a bar under different names and owners for more than fifteen years -- hence the stale smell of cigarette smoke that lingers in the air and the worn industrial carpeting. A dark, expansive space anchored by a giant black horseshoe bar, the current incarnation bills itself as "Denver's premier dart bar." As home to the Denver Dart Association, with two traditional boards, five electronic boards and plenty of open space for throwing, the Prince seems deserving of the title. A projector for watching games, a shrine of sorts to Number 7 in the back by a pool table and a handmade hanging rug showcase the bar's other interest: football -- specifically, Broncos football. A spaghetti night, a poker tournament, a smoking patio and a dozen other specials round out the attractions at the Naughty Prince.
