The Moore is one of Seattle's historic monuments. It looks and feels like an opera house, but the place actually hosts as many pop musicians as theatrical performances. Though it's become a little run-down over the years -- look closely and you might detect some chipping plaster and faded paint -- the Moore regularly hosts some of the best touring acts and plays to grace Seattle, and it's a much more hospitable venue to see relatively famous performers than arena spaces like KeyArena or WaMu Theater. The only downside? They cram the chairs in so tight, it's impossible to dance.
A staple of Seattle - The Moore houses so many great acts each year! I love it for comedy shows as it's a bit smaller then some of the other venues.
