Description

At the Melting Pot, it's hard to eat a full meal, with dessert and drinks, without leaving at least a C-note behind, but the spent Franklin is worth it. Such a tab gets you a bowl of cheesy fondue, fine salad, French-influenced meat entrées, and a dessert that's flambéed in front of you.

My favorite restaurant, hands down. It's all fondue. You start out with a salad, but then you get cheese fondue - and they have apples and bread and broccoli and different stuff that you dip into cheese. And then you cook your meat in a fondue - like in a broth - and they have filet mignon and chicken and shrimp, all different kinds of stuff. And then they have a dessert fondue, which is chocolate. You will leave here ten pounds heavier, but it's amazing. You definitely have to go.

Cheddar Cheese Fondue
aged, medium-sharp cheddar and emmenthaler swiss cheeses, lager beer, garlic and seasonings.

Wisconsin Trio Cheese Fondue
fontina, butterkäse and buttermilk bleu cheeses with white wine, scallions and a hint of sherry.
