Description

Fondue has fallen in and out of fashion ever since the 1960s. It's currently trendy enough, however, to support this chain of 50 Melting Pot locations. Houston's location is nestled in an upper Westheimer strip center. The typical feast spans four courses, including a cheese fondue appetizer. For dessert, you can dip bits of brownie, pound cake, cheesecake or fruit into the Yin and Yang, a pleasing mixture of dark and white chocolate shaped like the Chinese symbol.

Splurg and order the Turtle Chocolate & Carmel dessert fondue. I wish I could swim around in a pool filled with that deliciousness.

Usually I stay away from chains but just try to find an independent fondue place. Food is excellent and fun and incredibly atmosphere is romantic. Though a bit spendy, it's excellent for special occassions, I took the bf there for his birthday.
