Description
It's hard to expect anything but glitz from the W Hotel's hotel bar, The Living Room, which has 2009's version of the future as its theme. Its main source of light literally emanates from the bar, a large white counter shining brightly like a florescent light bulb. Strangely, it has a tractor-beam effect, compelling patrons to look at the shelves on the back wall. Nothing too special back there. A few good bourbons to accompany a moderate wine list. A jazz band typically sets up in the corner, playing mood music for hotel guests lounging in the bar's plush seats, scattered about the room.
