A dramatic black and red exterior immediately calls your attention to the Irish Rover from the outside. Inside, it's what you'd expect from an Irish bar: Dark brick and wood accent the place, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and Celtic and folk music is playing in the background. Alan is a great person, but the staff is going to hurt his business. I am a long term customer and have seen many great things take place here, but over the last few months the service has been horrible and rude by the new staff. My biggest concern though is a physical assault I witnessed Saturday December 22, 2012 when a doorman attacked a man for no apparent reason, I asked several other witnesses and all agreed it was unprovoked and that this type of behavior by a doorman was uncalled for. I can no longer endorse this place since it has turned into a HOSTILE AND VIOLENT PLACE, with terrible service, Very Very sad. Clean up the Staff Alan!!!
