Description

Part sports bar and part casual eatery, The Hot Dog Shop is the place to get a piping hot dog at any time of day or night. Boasting a full calendar of community-geared events such as hot-dog eating contests and chili cookoffs, the vibe at The Hot Dog Shop is designed to be welcoming of all, even at 6:30 in the morning. The shop does offer more than dogs for breakfast - standard eggs, pancakes and the like are available. Rounding out the lunch and dinner menus are burgers, po-boys, salads and baked potatoes. At night, the Shop hosts punk and rockabilly shows. Yes, you read that right.

    Frank Della Sala is the owner of the Hot Dog Shop which is located in the Northwest side of the Great City of Houston Texas, 6405 Brittmoore Rd, has been serving folks great food and great fun for over 24 years. he started out with a Hot Dog Cart and some Cold Beer and now its a full service Restaurant, Bar, and Catering Service! he was able to acomplished all of this because of his Fantastic Staff, and Customers, spreading the word about all the great food including the best Damn Hot Dog's in Texas. Over the years he has indroduced new menu items. What he found out is if they make it they love it. This has culminated into, at last count, 101 menu items ranging from the BEST 1/2 Burgers in town, to delectable Seafood en tree's. and just about everything in between! On a quick visit to the bar area you'll find over 25 different kinds of beer, and a great list of wines, and just about every kind of liquor & liqueur available. The entertainment range's from Our Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest, BBQ and Chili Cook-offs,live music,darts,pool,shuffleboard video games,trivia contest, karaoke, games on the big screens, and a whole lot more! In other words...there is always something going on at the Hot Dog Shop, and I would love to share the fun with Ya'll! So stop on by, and you'll soon realize that you have found Houston's Best Kept Secret!
