Wine aficionados have a sultry place to explore the goodness of the naked grape at the Grateful Palate. This yacht-provisioning company opened its doors as a restaurant and wine bar in 2008. Here, guests can get a culinary education along with a delectable meal and a glass of vino, as the restaurant and wine lounge host winetastings and classes. A sommelier and wine team are on staff to guide the neophyte to the connoisseur through the amazing selection of 300 wines. And the food is gourmet, although with slightly hefty prices; lunch dishes cost $20 and under, and dinner entrees go upward to $30. The menu changes almost daily, so it's best to check out the website before going. Recent entrees include potato gnocchi with braised lamb shank and bamboo-steamed Alaskan king salmon.
