Sister restaurant to the Sentinel, this equally tiny takeout window on Trinity Alley sells coffee, pastries, and heartier to-go breakfasts during the morning and sandwiches and salads at lunch. Chef-owner Dennis Leary (whose flagship restaurant is Canteen) knows how to paint vivid flavors onto the bread's blank canvas -- barbecued short ribs with caramelized onions, eggplant caponata and goat cheese, smoked trout with fennel and dill.
