The Gardens Houston is one of the most beautiful and unique venues in all of Houston TX. It is a elegant Spanish style featuring three large ballrooms and an intimate Italian chapel. The spectacular entrance and enclosed courtyard features a 12 foot water fountain surrounded by its four ballrooms. All of the rooms have really tall ceilings, maybe 18'-20', so everything feels a lot roomier and more open.
The largest room is the Grande Ballroom. It can accommodate up 500 guests for a seated dinner with a dedicated dance floor. This isn't one of those temporary, never big enough, fake dance floor tiles that you see everywhere else, it is a real built-in wooden dance floor. This same room can accommodate up to 950 cocktail or theater style.
What most people don't know is the largest events can use the entire venue and can easily accommodate 2,000+ guests.
Although they offer full-service catering, they are one of the very rare venues that allows you to use your favorite caterer without a special fee of any kind! The huge outside catering fees at other venues are designed to make you think twice about using someone else for catering. The Gardens Houston's catering menu variety, pricing and food quality is excellent and they have confidence that most of their clients will choose them for catering.
Another unique feature of The Gardens Houston is that they offer linens,overlays, napkins, chair covers sashes, and lots of other soft-goods in a extensive variety of shades and textures. They also offer huge custom floor-to-ceiling draping, in your choice of colors that makes each ballroom look unique and stunning.
The current staff and manage have been excellent to work with. Trudy, Karen, Rolland, Ruben and Carmen are all very customer focused and made us feel that we were the most important client in world. That's pretty impressive in today's world.
