Decked out in bric-a-brac and reminiscent of a locals-only beach town dive, the Fishbowl is true to its community, sponsoring neighborhood dodgeball and softball teams (and boasting its winners' trophies on display), as well as supporting local artists by exhibiting their work for sale. On Sundays, the owner gets on the grill and serves up free BBQ. They also serve comfort grub everyday: the tater tots are "dusted with board spice" and the chicken tenders are battered thick. And what better way to wash down community-friendly food than to drink out of a community bowl? Their version of a Scorpion Bowl, the Fishbowl, is big enough for four - or one, you lush.
