Walk into this authentic Irish Pub and you will be instantly transported to a small farmtown in the countryside. Not only can you get a proper Guinness, Smithwicks, Harp or Strongbow on tap, you can add a nip of whiskey, and an order of blood pudding. The heavy wood tables are the perfect place to slam them when you're done. The bar top is as Irish a smiling lass in Carlingford, and the seats are just as comfortable. Nautical adornments, weathered art, vintage books, and an ancient looking fireplace fill out the space.
Any night of the week, you can take a date here. An actual big banyan tree out front is so downright magical that youd think some sort of Irish el...

It can be hard to relate to Ireland's rolling green hills and blustery (and often impossibly charming) cliffside villages, but if there's one thing South Florida understands, it's how to raise a glass... More »
Temperatures are dipping below 70 Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Some nights, they'll even get below 60! By Floridian standards, that's damn near freezing. Luckily, it's rare enough (a... More »

Party like the Irish this St Patrick's Day, Saturday, March 17 at The Field Irish Pub & Eatery. Featuring real Irish music on two stages with Celtic Bridge, Richard Wood & Gordon Belsher plus many special guests. Bars inside and out, Irish fare... More »
Pulling on the "Kiss Me, I'm Wasted" T-shirt and a green-and-white striped top hat for St. Patrick's Day won't score you any points for creativity, but on a holiday that's become as mainstream and boo... More »
The elusive best poured Guinness: a chilled, ruby-colored brew buried deep in a pint glass and crowned with a creamy, frothy head that coats your throat on the way down. Maybe the Irish have fire in their blood because, west of Ireland, finding this heady, alcohol-filled treasure done right is rarer than finding gold at the end of a rainbow. But at the Field, a dollhouse-like Irish pub, you can settle on the outdoor patio (under the shade of an enormous banyan tree) and have a pretty... More »
Congratulations! You snagged a date. You probably know nothing about this person. Does she like the Beatles? We won't go as far as to say that you can never trust a person who doesn't like the Beatles, but we will say you can trust a person -- at least for one night -- who does like the Beatles. Especially if that one night is in a bar. In a crowded Irish bar, where it would be natural for you to drink, to get that liquid courage to converse with an unfamiliar human. You can do... More »
The first time the foot falls inside the Field, you get the feeling of having entered a large, 100-year-old Irish house. Once you drop a Guinness, Bass, or Strongbow Irish Cider down the neck, you begin to feel the warm effects of the dark wood and dim-lit interior. From the massive, deep barrel booth in the back to the brick fireplace in the center of the room, the bar creates an atmosphere that transports you to a wee little land across the sea. The spell is complete when the Celtic Bridge... More »
Love the Field, a really nice place and atmosphere. Beautiful bar, dining room with great Musicians. Love their Fish and Chips. Artichoke dip is great also. Have a wonderful St. Patrick's day Celebration. Good drinks.
Dont judge this place by the outside..it may seem awkward at first, but the ambience and "homey" feel of this place sets the tone for a great evening...Enjoy a cold Guinness or Smithwicks Irish Ale. Gives a true feeling of Old Ireland with the old beer bottles and books...Fun for the whole croud.
