On a rapidly gentrifying block where Chinatown meets the Lower East Side comes this seasonally inspired, British-influenced gastropub. The exposed brick-walled former sausage factory cultivates a hipster aesthetic worthy of the neighborhood (waiters all wear plaid, diners includes a high preponderance of models). The food, meanwhile, include stick-to-your-ribs fare like Stilton and pork tart and celery root pot pie studded with black garlic that"s satisfying enough to please a carnivore. Vegetables get their moment to shine, too, though, particularly in the excellent raw and fried cauliflower salad with curried yogurt and, of course, in the complimentary namesake radishes gracing every table.
