The vibe at Clinton Hill's The Emerson changes from hour to hour, day to day, and even season to season. If you go at, say, 2 o'clock on a winter Wednesday, the place will be relaxed and nearly empty. Nothing wrong with that though, it only means you'll be able to spend more time on the pool table and less in line for the bathroom. 11 o'clock on a Friday? The place will probably be raging, with DJs spinning classic rap and that pool table nowhere to be found. Still, nothing beats a laid-back summer evening, when you and your friends get to sit on the benches in the beautiful backyard.
