Decked out in chandeliers and exposed brick, The Diller Room is located within what used to be The Diller Hotel. This was Seattle's first luxury hotel, erected in 1898, which, back then, according to owner Rob Wilson, meant it has running water. The lounge proudly displays an old neon sign from the former hotel, above the long polished bar that's technically sited within the café. There's also a spacious backroom that's typically less crowded and furnished with dark and roomy booths. This venue has got a sort of night and day thing going, a double identity. The drinks are good and strong, and the mood of the place is right on.
