  If you're out in the middle of SE Valley nowhere ... ok, even if you're not you should make the trip at least once. This place is easily one of my top five in the Valley. A simple country-deli vibe (butcher paper on the tables and silverware presented in a mason jar, lol) Virtually everything they offer is locally sourced. Get the prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella to start. You'll be hooked. Warm roast beef w/ pepper jack, caramelized onions and roasted red peppers on a baguette (with homemade horseradish) is absolutely ridiculous. Best roast beef sandwich in the valley IMO. Grilled mozzarella and fontina w/ prosciutto rocks as well. And if you like turkey, go for the cold turkey, provolone and pepper bacon (sourced from The Pork Shop) on white. No cheap, or even high-end "deli" turkey here, this is the real deal. The pizza rocks (homemade mozzarella), the sides rock (yukon gold potato salad a bit heavy on the rosemary for my taste), everything is farm fresh and tastes it. Only open until 8pm, closed Sunday AND Monday can be frustrating sometimes, but it's family owned and run business (awesome people btw), and frankly it's so good they can get away with it. Depending on where you are, the drive sucks, but if you enjoy and appreciate good, local food, this is a must visit.

  Fantastic fresh, local food. Top Five restaurant in the East Valley easily, and arguably top five in the entire Valley for the class of restaurant. The vast majority of ingredients are produced locally, from vendors such as the Queen Creek Olive Mill, The Pork Shop in Queen Creek, and Agritopia in Gilbert. Nothing I've had so far disappoints. Prosciutto-wrapped homemade mozzarella is a very, very tasty starter. The warm sandwiches are all fantastic (particularly the Cuban and the Roast Beef). Best pizza in the QC. Sausage and white bean soup w/ parmesan and basil pesto is delicious, bursting with flavor yet not heavy and overdone. Again, the freshness of the ingredients is the star here: The food is simple, but expertly executed. Nice selection of microbrews (Nimbus!), and co-owner and house sommelier Nicole Mastyk pairs each dinner entrée with an appropriate wine from their generous selection. Don't let the location scare you off. This is destination dining at it's finest. Very casual, yet classy country vibe (not usually my thing at all) to go along perfectly with the rural ex-urban feel of Queen Creek. The service is fantastic, very genuinely friendly people and you can tell that they all take extreme pride in what they do. 3 1/2 stars, minus 1/2 for being closed on Sundays AND Mondays, and only open until 8pm.
