Just looking at this Village-area place might give you cavities. The chocolate bar deals in all things cocoa, and does so with a sense of humor. Several varieties of chocolate in novelty shapes are available, as well as kitschy gift items, including doggie chocolates. The Texas Frito Brittle, a mix with chocolate, Fritos, pretzels and pecans - has been featured on the Food Network. The cake (expensive, but with slices big enough to share) and ice cream are particularly decadent.
The food and gifts related to chocolate here are unbelievable. It's a little bit expensive but it's worth it. For in-house eating, try the hot cocoa. There is also a lot of ice cream and cake. The one minus is that a lot of times, because it's open late, this place is super full and there are a lot of teenagers. If I would change one thing, I would make water free- ice cream + chocolate make you thirsty and the water fountain set up as the only free water kind of stinks. However I'll still be back.
The Chocolate bar is not the place to go if you have a sweet tooth because you will never leave! They have everything chocolate you could ever want. I love the cakes and the chocolate dipped rasberries. Oh and the ice cream! Thin mint made from real Girl Scout Cookies, yum!
