The Cherry Pit may not look like much on the outside-or inside, for that matter, with its low popcorn ceiling and well-worn carpeting-but what makes this dive bar stand out are the strong drinks and the friendly bartenders pouring them. You know you're somewhere special when the staff is so comfortable with their surroundings that they adjust their hair while chatting with patrons from behind the bar. Sociability aside, the Cherry Pit also features two pool tables, one dartboard and a Ping-Pong table. A full liquor selection and a half-dozen draft beers are complemented by a Jägermeister tap and Red Bull fridge, making the Jäger Bomb a house favorite.
