Description

Just as the name suggests, this national chain is known for its cheesecake. The Original Cheesecake is what made the original restaurant famous, and now the dessert is offered in more than a dozen varieties. That's just the start of the abundance here: The menu is a book, its pages listing something for every palate, from tapas to salad to pizza to pasta to burgers to steaks to omelets to heartier entrees. There's a whole roster of sweets other than cheesecake, as well as espresso, specialty margaritas and mojitos, a decent wine list and beer on tap. If you're dining with a group, a meal here is low-risk: The atmosphere is welcoming, and you know that everyone will be able to find something they'll love in that encyclopedia of a menu. Portions are huge, too, so they should have a take-home souvenir.
