This trendy boutique hotel, housed in one of the cityas first skyscrapers, is often filled with fashion industry scenesters because of its proximity to the Fashion Week tents, its luxe amenities like cashmere throws and 400-thread count sheets, and its own hip, contemporary design.     This hotel is on Bryant Park where they have fashion week in nyc so obviously a lot of models stay here and the hotel is very stylish and cosmopolitan. It's also one of the best values in new york for hotels. Reserve a junior suite because they are huge and really wonderful, particularly the ones that face the park. There is also an amazing fashion magazine store a few doors down from the hotel that sells past year's fashion runway magazines at 1/10th their original price. For movie fans in the summer they show movies in the park and the park has a nice european flair to it.
