If you can’t watch a scary movie without flinching every 30 seconds, you may not want to partake in a night full of skeletons, chain saws and men in masks. As horrifying as it may sound, some people actually love the few minutes of torture. This y... More »

The Best Haunted House! With out a doubt we have been to this year, Each year we come down from Oklahoma and go to all of the Haunted House in Fort Worth and Dallas. The Boneyard has to be the best this year. We timed our trips the houses and the Boneyard was the longest at 47 min. Tons of actors, Great scares and who ever designed this monster is a genius. I now understand what being lost and disorientated feels like. Pure Genius!

Class Act - Well Done! The Boneyard sets the bar in terms of how a attraction should be operated. Professional staff, Great layout, Neat and Clean. This is a upscale venue with stages, DJ lighting, bar, concession and a game room with classic arcade games. The Haunted House was no exception. We ran the gamut from screams to laughter. Lines were long but moved quickly. Absolutely Flawless.

BONEYARD HAUNTED HOUSE REVIEW: Rating it with one star is not really accurate. I'd give it zero stars for being really awful. BONEYARD haunted house in Arlington TX is the biggest waste of time & money. It was seriously a lousy and poor excuse of a haunted house! I went with two other people and we were all terribly disappointed that we paid $25 to wander around in a dark maze for about 45 minutes. They say no flashlights are permitted when you enter and do not touch anything. So don't touch anything, but try to get around in the dark without touching walls or feeling your way about is impossible. It was so dark with no lights and black painted walls that I used the light of my cell phone to navigate my way through it. There's only very few props and we saw maybe six or seven staff members dressed with makeup, costumes or mostly mask. I held my cell phone up to see them and they do look like they are done up well but you will never know it since it's soooooo very dark. Dark does not equal scary. I told this to the woman at the ticket booth at front and she said "well some people are afraid of the dark." "We've never had any complaints before." You are so much better off turning off all the lights in your house or a friends house and wander about bumping into walls and furniture. There's a room of torn sheets, again nothing scary about pushing your way through laundry. We also tripped over several thermos drinking containers. When some security guy saw me with my phone light on he said rudely turn off the phone because you're going to ruin it for others. How can you ruin nothing in the dark? I continued with my phone on and he said "turn it off or else?" So we just said take us to the exit because we wanted out of there as quickly as possible so we wouldn't waste any more time. He lead us out the employee back way. There are paper exit signs posted on the walls in a few spots to direct you, we went through one and ended up back where the regular dressed staff was just standing around talking. They need more lights and more staff throughout. It's called the Boneyard, well then management should add some bodies in there so people can enjoy what they pay for. Smoke, darkness and loud noises doesn't cut it as scary in my opinion when calling yourself a haunted house. The poorly light parking lot was scarier than the inside. They are located inside part of the old six flags mall. There are no signs posted anywhere out front and a few colored lights on top of the building. There's a boneyard painted truck close to the door and the GPS locator telling us you're at your destination, that's how we knew we where there. Don't be fooled by what you see or read on the website they are not scary at all. The small portion they show in video clips is better lite than the actual thing. The only true thing I found on the website was at the bottom of the page it says "The Boneyard Haunted House is DFW's Top rated Dark Amusement Attraction." Darkness was the only honest part about this place. If you're afraid of the dark then go gives these people your money and knock yourself out, but you are better off seeking a good time elsewhere!!
