Description

General manger Hans Raina oversees an elegantly simple (without the dress code!) Japanese restaurant-the aquarium notwithstanding. All the usual offerings are available. Specialty sushi rolls, like the rock Manhattan roll, are listed. Tempura platters are present. Lone Star-spun main entrées, such as the sautéed jumbo scallops with jalapeño, garlic salsa and a garlic ponzu sauce, can be ordered. This North Dallas branch is the only one in the metroplex to offer an hibachi menu. Diners can select from a long list of items, such as filet mignon, calamari, lobster, chicken and a vegetarian special. However, the restaurant's forte is sake, any of which-particularly Horin-is worth considering as an accompanying tipple. If a DJ is in the house, be prepared for a dance party to break out.
