Description

The eatery's name honors Don Perignon, who was, in real life, a blind monk. Thus, an alcohol connoisseur's menu: more than 90 wines will be poured by the glass, and 300-plus bottles on the list, representing every wine-growing region around the globe. There's a hand-picked selection of microbrews, plus espresso and numerous sparkling juices for the teetotalers among us. The food menu is sparse but traditionally wine-friendly: cold cuts and cold seafoods, a selection of cheese, fresh fruits on the main menu, and fruits with dark chocolates on a dessert menu. One special each week will be featured; it's a cold shrimp ceviche taco to start.
