Located below The Library, the Big Bang touts itself as "an underground dueling piano bar." Patrons provide as much entertainment as the pianists, getting onstage to dance and sing along. A high level of audience participation, combined with the pianists' campy humor, creates the aura of a cheesy lounge high on nitrous oxide, seven nights a week.
Featuring military drink specials, donation drink specials, and dueling pianos at 8:30 pm.
Some sad news broke earlier this week that Arizona State University has taken a tumble in Newsweek's rankings of the top party schools in the nation. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. At one time (read... More »
Gummy Bears. Gatorade. Pancakes and orange juice. Aside from being arguably the best breakfast ever, these are just a small sampling of the arsenal of food-reminiscent cocktails Jason Lyons has ... More »
To get to The Big Bang, you literally have to go underground -- there's a flight of stairs next to the entrance, leading to what's essentially a basement. Really, though, it's all good, clean fun, as the "dueling" piano players keep the tunes (mostly hits... More »
One of the few places on Mill that charges a cover, but it's worth it! Always packed on a weekend night and always lively with incredibly talented musicians. If you hope to sit near the stage, get there early (around 8). Great place to bring a friend for their birthday; birthday people are pulled on stage and fully embarrassed. It's a great time at the Bang!
If you're lookin' for a really fun time, The Big Bang always brings a good time. Great place to bring somebody on their birthday! ;)
I highly recommend stopping by here if you've got a friend visiting from out of town.
