The historic Hollywood music space has seen several transformations over the years, but no matter the name (El Capitan, the Palace, etc.). the Art Deco splendor of the original 1920s establishment and dance-friendly layout have remained. New owners and a new moniker brought an even more DJ-driven sensibility to the two-level building in 2002, and the Vine Street landmark's top-notch sound system, stage production and expansive layout make it a favorite for live shows and special celeb events, as well weekly dance parties.
