The special at Thai Ginger, with locations in Bellevue, Redmond, Issaquah and Downtown and Madison Park, is a must-try for ginger lovers, containing ginger strips sautéed in a dark sauce with onions, mushrooms, green peppers, and chicken or beef. For appetizers, try the coconut-milk-marinated chicken satay or the tom kah gai. Good entrées include the cashew chicken or a bowl of good old red curry.

    I try to support businesses with similar ethics as mine.
    After having read this article and many others about Thai Ginger's owner having committed immigration fraud--paying people to marry her relatives so they could stay in the U.S., I can no longer support such a business. Even if they do cook good food (sometimes), this restaurant is terribly managed and owned. And her employees show the lack of management in their atrocious customer service. Not a place to go.
