This location has seen a series of Asian restaurants come and go, first Red Cyclo, then Saigon, and now Thai Garden - an incarnation we hope will survive at least a decade. The décor in this little space is superprecious, filled with bright Thai geegaws, a saltwater fish tank, silk plants, elephant statuary, and mirrors. A few of the old Vietnamese dishes have survived, like the beef noodle pho soups, but most of the menu is Thai or nouveau Thai, with a good selection of the classics and a couple of turns on classics - in season, you can get a green mango salad (in place of green papaya) and "angel wings" made from ground chicken and herbs stuffed into boneless chicken wings. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is sweet.
