While there is an abundance of Thai spots in Central Phoenix, Thai E-San distinguishes itself with bold, pungent flavors and some unusual items that you don't find just anywhere, like tangy sausages filled with pork and pork skin. The service is low-key but gracious; they've even made the inside of a mundane building feel exotic. Entree Portions are practically big enough to share.

First things first: How do they define their "Thai hot" Here, at Thai E-San -- which opened in CenPho earlier this year -- even the medium is pretty tongue-searing. These folks mean business, from the taste of their curries. By far my favourite Thai restaurant in Phoenix. The food is consistently great, the staff is very friendly & it's conveniently located at 7th Ave & Indian School Rd.
