A popular dessert destination since the 1940s, Ted Drewes Frozen Custard serves up sweet treats such as shakes, malts, sundaes, banana splits and, of course, their famous froze custard. Stick around and enjoy your sugar high in their large parking lot, where guests traditionally settle in to eat. The lines get long, especially after Cardinals games, but the multiple order windows expedite the process.

And no concrete we've ever tasted combines childhood winter-holiday memories with reminiscences of carefree summers past like the Great Pumpkin, a seasonal concoction whipped up August through December at Ted Drewes.
