Description
The Tea Garden, with several locations throughout the metro, has played no small part in bringing the Taiwanese bubble tea craze to the Twin Cities. It's a hopping place serving a variety of hot and cold tea drinks, with bubbles and added flavors or without, as well as loose leafs available in bulk to go. Expect free wi-fi, occasional live music, local art, and a space that is a bit schizophrenically decorated, as if one decorator was going for eclectic elegance and another for well-worn campus-hang "charm." Most drinks are in the under-$5 range unless you get a little crazy with all the extras.
