This second location of longtime Bellaire favorite Tan Tan doesn't hold nearly as much charm as the original, even if it's serving all the same food from the notoriously long (25 pages long) menu. Best bets are helpfully listed on the very first page of the menu, such as fried rice and stir-fried flat rice noodles with beef and broccoli. There's a wine list, but you're better off sticking with beer or Vietnamese lemonade. In the winter, it's a useful spot for hot pot without having to drive all the way over to Chinatown proper.
