From a four-tiered, multi-colored wedding cake complete with draped and folded fondant and air-brushed rose petals made of white chocolate to simpler, tasty fruit tarts, chocolate chip brownies and cookies as big as your face, Tammie Coe's signature pastries have a way of turning any moment into a joyous occasion. We can't say we love Tammie Coe, because we've never met her, but we can say we love Tammie Coe Cakes!

When it comes to bread, master baker Michael John sure knows what he's doing. Sharing space with his gifted wife, Tammie Coe, MJ cranks out beautiful loaves of sourdough, rye, and wheat. We owe Tammie Coe an apology. For years, we've admired the beauty of her cakes -- striped Mad Hatter-esque creations with impossibly smooth icing in vibrant colors. Our favorite is a recent creation -- plain white covered perfectly with rainbow sprinkles, with a candy candle on top. We'll forgive you if you didn't know MJ Bread exists. It's like a cute toy hidden inside a cereal box, but in this case, the cereal box is Tammie Coe Cakes. You may walk into Tammie Coe's looking for a swirly cake, but you're just as likely to walk out with a crunchy baguette, some ciabatta bread, or a warm olive loaf. Tammie Coe's the frontwoman with the famous zebra-striped wonderland cakes, but her hubby Michael, of MJ Bread, is the guy in the back, making bread. And his bread is fantastic � we've long loved his crispy loaves. Recently, we discovered MJ's pretzel � a pretzel made the way God (or, at least, the Germans) intended it to be: over-sized and doughy, with a crisp exterior and a salty finish. We fully intend to return for pretzels and cake and, to appease our guilt, Coe's newly expanded salad/sandwich options at lunch at the Roosevelt location.

I love Tammie Coe. Like seriously, I have a problem. The MJ cookie is to die for or a delicious creme-filled almond crouissant. You really just can't go wrong!

I am in LOVE with Tammie Coe! Everything is so very yummy! The have the best cookies, cakes, bread, muffins, ect. in the valley. There cakes are a must for any special occasion.
