Eat a taco to help end childhood hunger. That's the idea behind Tacos for Strength, a yearlong program of Mercadito Midtown that each month invites a hotshot local chef to come up with a custom taco, with a portion of its sale proceeds going to the nonprofit group Share Our Strength. Four of these puppies will set you back $16.50, but it's filling your belly for a good cause, so fork it over.
