Description
The best part about this sunny Mexican restaurant in Arcadia may well be the “taco sauce.” Not quite salsa, the tomato-based smoky condiment is slathered on absolutely everything that comes across the orange and yellow counter here, from the classic hard-shelled gringo tacos to the meaty burritos that spill over with refried beans and neon yellow cheese. The best dishes are the simplest, which means ground beef instead of al pastor. The chairs are an uncomfortable mix of plastic and metal and the chipped tables aren't much for looking at, but the unmistakable flavors of simple nostalgia still waft out from the kitchen as you pay for your combo meal -- cash only, of course. And don't skimp on the taco sauce.
