The creators of this long, skinny space on Broadway have forged a mid-priced menu of re-imagined home-cooking faves and put it in a hip container with lots of nice wood and clean lines. The dinner menu features salads and soups, small plates, medium plates and "larger" plates. Among the smalls, the Mini Tuna Tartar Tacos are an intriguing bit of yumminess. The medium plate must-tries include the Duck Confít Nachos and the Chicken Andouille Sausage Corndogs. Larger plate options include a steak, two burgers - lamb and bison - and the signature 219 Sloppy Joe Sliders. Brunch is served Friday-Sunday, and somebody in your party better try the Seattle Slam, 219's homage to the Denny's Grand Slam breakfast.
