Sweet Retreat has a homey baking style, serving nothing but made-to-order scratch-baked cakes and a case full of cupcakes frosted with icing that's piped out through star-shaped tips. Most of the flavors are basic--vanilla, chocolate-chocolate, or banana-chocolate (cutely topped with a banana Runt candy)--but sometimes that's exactly what you want.
