Here in Phoenix, the name Sweet Republic is synonymous with amazing gourmet ice cream. The shop stands out from the competition by being unafraid to churn outside the box, creating sinfully insane flavors like I Heart Bacon, an addictive creation chock full of bits of caramelized smoked bacon; Sichuan Orange Chocolate, a classic duo spiced up with the delicate and floral Sichuan pepper; and Honey Blue Cheese, a sweet and savory combination made with local honey. Of course they craft more expected flavors too like bananas foster, rocky road, brownie swirl, and salted butter caramel, all made with quality fresh ingredients. Sweet Republic also makes desserts like ice cream cake, ice cream pie, ice cream sandwiches made with fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, and confections like bacon brittle and handmade marshmallows. This Scottsdale shop isn’t just a hit in the Valley; it’s gained national attention from Bon Appetit, Time Magazine, and U.S. News and World Report.

Like it or not (and we like it), the bacon trend isn't going away anytime soon. We're keen on the salted butter caramel ice cream, lime-basil sorbet (so refreshing), and the addicting blue cheese ice cream. No, it's not as weird as it sounds; think sweet and seductive, like really good cheesecake.
This ice cream here is yummy..but the best part is the uniqueness! Yes, they have traditional flavors, but they also have fun flavors like corn, salted caramel, and bacon!...yes I said bacon! And I have had it - it's good!
