Description

For the first time in living memory, the food at Sutro's at the Cliff House is now worthy of its stunning views of the Pacific, Ocean Beach, and sea-lion-topped rocks. The playful, carefully conceived, flavor-layered food (much of it heated with spice) features an emphasis on seasonal and local products. The lavish wine and spirits list at this Outer Richmond establishment is worthy of the excellent and ambitious food and setting. Framed memorabilia from the vanished nearby Sutro Baths is museum-worthy.
