Description

On busy nights, shouts of "kampai" punctuate a rock-and-roll soundtrack that's audible from the street outside. Inside, lively crowds pack into wooden booths for sake bombs, nigiri and fusion rolls, made by an interactive group of chefs who work behind the massive sushi bar. A more peaceful ambience hangs over lunch, when the dining room is kept dark and quiet for patrons chopsticking tempura from bento boxes, served by a waitstaff wearing robes and headbands. A few nights a week, the restaurant also hosts a raucous karaoke session, frequented by college students and Boulder locals alike.
